Angeliki Jackson (aka ASTRODUB)

Born and raised on the small Greek isle of Chios, in the eastern Aegean sea, Angeliki Jackson (aka Astrodub) immigrated to New York City in 1990, where she pursued a Graphic Design degree at School of Visual Arts. She loves to experiment and mix different mediums in her personal work which includes but is not limited to: collage, photography, block printing, silk screening, stenciling, origami, embroidery, flash animation, and audiovisual experiences.

Angeliki’s fine art has been featured in group exhibitions at Space Womb gallery in Long Island City, AIR Gallery in DUMBO, the Knitting Factory in Williamsburg and ION Studio in SoHo. Her photography has graced the virtual pages of street art blog Vandalog, and has a steadily growing international fan base. Angeliki was recently interviewed about her documentation of street art by Raygun Productions for an upcoming documentary on iPhoneography, and by the Mexican Publication Street Culture in regards to her relationship with street art.

Currently Angeliki is working on publishing a book on her street art photography and collaborating on visual projects with several artists, including curating and promoting the work of talented unknown artists at UNKNOWN NYC.
